Book Review~ Marry Me, Stranger by Novoneel Chakraborty

Marry me stranger, is the book i have started reading due to curiosity of knowing that when two stranger get married then how things gonna happen in their life and how they deal with their reality but it was not the story of marriage.

It is the story of a Rivanah who was the single child of Mr. & Mrs. Bannerjee. After selecting from MNC located in Mumbai, Rivanah moved from Kolkata to Mumbai and stayed with her cousin sister and her husband for some days later shifted in PG with two other unknown girls in whom one become her best friend and other one was not because of her reserved nature.

In story where does writer explain Rivanah and Ekansh’s relationship that part is nice to read.

Basically this was the story of Rivanah and a stranger from whom she had been getting messages over her phone since the day she came Mumbai, and firstly Rivanah was irritated, nervous, feared and so many other emotions dealing within herself about stranger, but when that stranger exposed Ekansh in front of her who was cheating her in their relationship till that day a soft core generated in Rivanah’s heart for that stranger after that stranger helped her for solving more problems of her life.

It’s a story you can try to read if you like mistery genres series.

Read a series of books to know what happens with Rivanah and the stranger’s friendship?

Marry me, stranger

Book Review~ Rich Dad Poor Dad by Robert Kiyosaki

Omg what book this was. Although I am not a big fan of self help books but in this book I have explored so many different aspects which I never did before.

The book mainly focus on financial education, personal finance, entrepreneurship which should teach to everyone so they can exactly know how money works.

In this book author was little boy and very curious to know how rich earn enough money so easily, so he and his friend Mike goes to mike’s dad for learning from him because he was a businessman. Whom author tell his rich dad and his real dad was poor dad for him.

His rich dad create so many situation for both of them to learn how to earn money and give lesson too.

There are some of my favourite lesson his rich dad given to him and Mike was

“Money is one form of power. But what is more powerful is financial education.”

“Money comes and goes, but if you have the education about how money works, you gain power over it and can begin building wealth.”

“People do two things. Some just let life push them around. Others get angry and push back.”

“Learn to use your emotions to think, not think with your emotions.”

“If you want to be rich, you need to be financially literate.”

“The one thing that holds all of us back is some degree of self-doubt.”

“Teaching was one of their ways of giving.”

The writing style of author was simple but efficiently capture reader attention.

The book does a fantastic job to teach about why financial education must learn to everyone. Initial chapters are so good to read and could have so many things to learnt from it.

Last chapters I have liked less because author focus too much on real estate business only, which could be difficult and complicated for investors in the beginning.

Author himself tell his book has best selling tag not best writing tag because I have seen alot of people around me who tell about this book but they are not applying those lesson in their life which was centre point of book.

I would recommend this book because it gives so many advice or lesson about money which generally people don’t give you within little piece of money.

My Rating- ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Book Review~ The Secret Wish list by Preeti Shenoy

If I am right, this world have three types of reader. One who judges book by their cover, second who judges by their title and the last who judge book by their preface.

The first thing which attract my eyes towards book is their title, so somehow I come in second category.

Do tell me in the comment section what type of reader you are?

The book i have finished recently The secret wishlist by Preeti Shenoy disappointed all my expectations.

The secret wishlist was the story of Diksha who was not happy in her married life because her partner was not know how a growing relationship want attention so that love be remain forever.

In this story you will also see how sometimes parents does not handle situation wisely and make their children life miserable. (Happen specially with girl)

Whenever we read book we want to find the character who has similar characteristics with us so story could be more enjoyable for us but in this story I have not found any of character with whom I can relate.

As story go ahead I felt at some point Diksha was wrong too just like her husband.

The character I hate in this book,

Diksha’s mother in law because she never try to aware her son for consequences about not paying attention towards his family which was definitely needed, she was be sweetheart with her daughter in law that was good.

The character I love in this book,

Vibha who made her cousin aware to do something in her for herself but not support her in every decision that was the best I noticed in vibha’s character.

Why you should grab this book?

To know what secret wishes Diksha had and would she get fullfil all her wishes or not.

My Rating- ⭐⭐/5

Book Review~ The oath of the VAYUPUTRAS by Amish Tripathi

After reading the first two books, every reader of shiva’s trilogy has set the high hopes from the last book of series, but unfortunately the author did not preserve the same whim in this book that he did in first two books.

When I had finished the second book I was so curious to know why Brahaspati hide himself from others, but in 200 pages all secrets was revealed, Nevertheless book has remained 375 pages.

The thinks, I did not like of this book were;
~ Title of book,
~ Inessential information was exerted so much, that’s why the book had become so lengthy.
~ The End was too dramatic like a Bollywood movie.

Although the book was not up to the mark, which Amish tripathi had set from his first two books, but some thinks I liked this book too;

~ Shiva and Sati singing performance.
~ Bhagirath conversation with her sister for lefting the meluha.

The moral of the story was; Do not compare yourself from others and not your beloved ones If sati does not compare her father to her grandfather, story could had be different.

The characters I liked in this series were;
~ Parvateshwar and Anandmayi
~ Sati

I really wanted to include Shiva’s name in my favorite characters list, but the way author presented his character in this book, made me so forlorn.

There was some statements in the book that instantly captures one’s attention like;
~One makes one’s own luck.
~Nobody in the world, not even God, can tell us what our duty is. Only our soul can.
~ There’s no wrong way to do the right thing. Brilliant!!

This Book was no so good but I am fan of Amish tripathi’s writing style and first two scrumptious books.
